Norwegian pro Johnny Lodden scored a 5th place finish in the Poker Stars Sunday Million a week ago, cashing in for 72k dollars.  Shockingly this couldn’t have come at a better time for him.

“I’m having a really shitty run,” Lodden said to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. He’s been losing at poker and sports betting.

“I’m worse off now than two years ago when I was broke,” he says.

“It pisses me off that I didn’t win,” he says about Sunday Million. “When you make such a deep run in a big event you just want to win.”
