Full Tilt Poker recently announced it will try to break the Guinness World Record for the largest online poker tournament. The current record is held by Poker Stars. Last December they reached 35k players for a single tournament.

It will take place at 15:05 ET on Sunday July 19th. Buy-in is $5 or 1,000 FTPs. The prize pool is a $250k guaranteed with $250k of money added.

Oh ya some guys named Phil Ivey and Chris Ferguson will be attending.
